• You have the legal authority to authorize work on the property or business premises specified in your service agreement
• All information provided to Good Energy — including property details, contact information, and financial documentation — is accurate and complete

• You will promptly communicate any changes to your property, ownership status, or relevant circumstances that may affect the scope or delivery of services
3. Services and Scope of Work
3.1 Service Agreements
All services provided by Good Energy are subject to a formal service agreement that outlines the specific scope of work, project timeline, pricing, payment schedule, and warranty terms. No work will commence until a written service agreement has been duly executed by both parties.
3.2 Design and Installation
Good Energy will provide initial design, engineering assessments, permitting, installation, and post-installation support as detailed in your service agreement. While we strive to meet all projected timelines, delays may occur due to supply chain conditions, permitting processes, weather, or other factors outside our reasonable control. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize their impact.
3.3 Installer Network
Good Energy works with a curated network of trusted and vetted installer partners, including Good Faith Energy and Integrated LLC, all of whom are licensed and insured. These partners operate under the same standards of quality and professionalism that Good Energy upholds.
4. Pricing, Payments, and Incentives
4.1 Pricing
All pricing is provided in writing prior to the commencement of any work and is subject to change only by mutual written agreement between both parties. Quoted prices are inclusive of labor, materials, and standard permitting fees unless otherwise specified.
4.2 Payment Terms
Payment terms are outlined in your service agreement. Failure to make timely payments may result in a suspension of services, additional charges, or legal action as permitted under applicable Texas law.
4.3 Tax Credits and Rebates
Good Energy assists clients in identifying and applying for available federal, state, and local tax credits, rebates, and incentive programs. However, we do not guarantee the approval or amount of any such incentives, as these are determined by relevant government agencies and are subject to change. Clients are encouraged to consult with a qualified tax professional regarding their individual eligibility.
5. Warranties
5.1 Workmanship Warranty
Good Energy warrants that all installation and service work will be performed in a professional manner, consistent with industry standards and applicable Texas building codes. Specific warranty periods for workmanship will be detailed in your service agreement.
5.2 Equipment and Product Warranties
Equipment and products installed by Good Energy — including solar panels, inverters, battery backup systems, EV charging units, and roofing materials — are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty. Good Energy will assist clients in navigating warranty claims where applicable.
5.3 Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized modifications, natural disasters, acts of God, failure to maintain the system as recommended, or damage caused by third parties. Any modifications made to installed systems without Good Energy's written consent will void the applicable warranty.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Good Energy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of energy production, or property damage caused by circumstances beyond our direct control. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, engineering drawings, proposals, reports, and documentation prepared by Good Energy in connection with your project remain the intellectual property of Good Energy unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clients are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use such materials solely for the purposes of their project.
8. Cancellation and Termination
Either party may cancel a service agreement under the terms and conditions specified within that agreement. Any cancellation by the client after work has commenced may result in charges for work completed, materials ordered, and permitting costs already incurred. Good Energy reserves the right to terminate services in the event of non-payment, breach of agreement, or unsafe working conditions.
9. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or any service agreement, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to mediation before pursuing litigation. All legal proceedings, if necessary, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas and conducted in the applicable jurisdiction within Texas.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of Texas.
11. Amendments to These Terms
Good Energy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services following any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage clients and partners to review these Terms periodically.
